What’s new (User Facing)?

**Support for Staggered Start–**Starting with ZedControl Release 8.5.0 introduces a delay between the time EVE-OS is ready to process application instance configurations and the time the application is started. Look at [ Create Edge Application Instance on Nodes and Projects Overview ].   **Support for GPS location from the Cellular Module–**Starting with ZedControl Release 8.5.0, geolocation information from cellular modules is supported. If both cellular-based geolocation and IP-based geolocation information are present, cellular-based geolocation coordinates take priority. Look at [ Onboard (Create) Node and Networks].   **Support for Prepared Poweroff Feature–**Starting with ZedControl Release 8.5.0, the ‘Prepared Poweroff’ feature is supported. This feature is useful when you need to gracefully shut down the set of applications running on EVE-OS. Look at [Lifecycle Operations on Nodes].
