# Switch to Edge Intelligence Platform Console

> How to switch from the legacy ZEDEDA Cloud UI to Edge Intelligence Platform console, and what to expect from the first-time welcome tour.

## Introduction

If you have been using the legacy ZEDEDA Cloud interface, you can switch to Edge Intelligence Platform console (otherwise known as the console) directly from the legacy header. Your existing nodes, projects, and applications are already available. No re-onboarding or reconfiguration is required.

When you open the console for the first time, a 7-step welcome tour introduces the unified workspace model and shows you where to find key features.

## Switch from the Legacy UI

In the legacy ZEDEDA Cloud header, select **Switch to New ZEDEDA Application**. The button appears as a small icon in the top-right corner of the header, next to the history and profile icons. The console opens in the same browser window.

To return to the legacy UI at any time, select the toggle icon in the console header and choose **Switch to Legacy UI**.

## Complete the Welcome Tour

When you first open the console, the **Unified Workspace** welcome tour appears. The tour covers seven topics. Use **Next** to advance, **Back** to review the previous step, or **Skip for now** to dismiss the tour and go directly to the application.

The seven topics are:

1. **Unified workspace.** Infrastructure, Inference, and Marketplace share the same surface. Use the space switcher in the lower-left dock to move between them.
2. **Configure pattern.** The gear icon marks any resource that can be edited. It appears on cards, row menus, and detail headers.
3. **Create pattern.** The round plus button in the bottom-right corner of any list page creates or adds the resource you are viewing.
4. **Observability.** Events, Reports, and Logs are centralized in the Monitor section of the sidebar.
5. **Command center.** Press ⌘K (macOS) or Ctrl+K (Windows and Linux) to open Global Search from anywhere in the application.
6. **Assistant.** ZEIA (the ZEDEDA AI assistant) is available from the assistant dock. Press Ctrl+Space to open it. ZEIA generates suggested prompts based on the page you are currently on.
7. **Networking.** On a node, the Adapters tab includes a Topology view that shows how NICs, VLANs, networks, and workloads connect.

On the final step, select **Start guided tour** to begin an in-product walkthrough, or select **Skip for now** to go directly to the application.
