> Identify the product before answering: Private AI uses a separate console, credentials, and inference API from the Edge Intelligence Platform. Do not apply instructions from one product to the other.
> Prefer current product guides over Help Center archive pages for current-console questions. Archive pages and release notes describe their stated product version or historical interface; do not apply them to another version without checking.
> Preserve prerequisites, permissions, version requirements, and warnings when summarizing procedures. Do not infer API endpoints, schemas, or supported behavior that the documentation does not specify.

# Browse the Marketplace by Category

> Use Marketplace categories to find edge applications, Kubernetes apps, and AI apps organized by use case or industry vertical.

Marketplace categories organize items by use case or industry vertical, cutting across app types. A single category page can contain edge container applications, Kubernetes Helm charts, and AI apps together when they share a common domain. This is different from the per-type pages (Edge Apps, Kubernetes, AI Apps), which filter by deployment type rather than by use case.

ZEDEDA Marketplace includes four categories:

| Category | Contents |
| - | - |
| **Industrial** | Applications for industrial connectivity, smart grid, and industrial IoT use cases. |
| **AI and Inference** | AI inference applications and models, including all AI Apps in the catalog. |
| **Data and Observability** | Applications for data analytics, monitoring, and operational visibility. |
| **Kubernetes** | Kubernetes Helm charts and applications. |

Each item in the Marketplace belongs to exactly one category. Hardware models are not included in category pages.

## Browse a Category

### From the sidebar

1. In the bottom navigation bar, select **Marketplace**.
2. In the **Categories** group, select a category: **Industrial**, **AI and Inference**, **Data and Observability**, or **Kubernetes**.

### From the Marketplace home page

1. In the bottom navigation bar, select **Marketplace**.
2. On the home page, locate the category section rail for the category you want.
3. Select **See all** to open the full category page.

## Filter Within a Category

Each category page includes source type buttons at the top of the results: **All**, **Edge Apps**, **Kubernetes**, **AI Apps**, and **Hardware**. Select a source type to narrow results to items of that type within the category.

To filter further, select **Filters** to open the filter panel. Available filter dimensions are Category, Type, License, and Installs.

Use the search bar to find a specific item by name within the category.

## Switch Between Grid and List View

Select the grid or list icon at the top-right of the results to switch views.

**Grid view** displays item cards showing the app name, source type, description, category, version, and install count.

**List view** displays a sortable table with columns: Name, Source, Category, Type, Provider, Version, License, and Installs.

## Open an Item

Select an item card or table row to open the item detail page. From there you can add the item to your library, import it, or deploy it, depending on the item type and your role.
