> Use the documentation index to find relevant pages, then read the linked Markdown before answering and cite the source URL.
> Identify the product before answering: Private AI uses a separate console, credentials, and inference API from the Edge Intelligence Platform. Do not apply instructions from one product to the other.
> Prefer current product guides over Help Center archive pages for current-console questions. Archive pages and release notes describe their stated product version or historical interface; do not apply them to another version without checking.
> Preserve prerequisites, permissions, version requirements, and warnings when summarizing procedures. Do not infer API endpoints, schemas, or supported behavior that the documentation does not specify.

# Marketplace Catalog

> Browse all edge applications, Kubernetes Helm charts, AI apps, and hardware models in a single searchable, filterable view.

The Catalog is the unified browse view for the ZEDEDA Marketplace. It shows all item types in one searchable, filterable list: edge container applications, Kubernetes Helm charts, AI apps, and hardware models. Use it when you want to explore the full catalog without limiting yourself to a single type, or when you are not sure which type of item you need.

The Catalog differs from the Marketplace home page, which is a discovery dashboard with featured items and category rails. The Catalog is the full, scrollable inventory.

## Open the Catalog

1. In the bottom navigation bar, select **Marketplace**.
2. Select **Catalog**.

The page heading shows the total number of items currently in view.

## Filter by Item Type

Use the source type buttons at the top of the results to narrow the catalog to one item type:

| Button | Shows |
| - | - |
| **All** | All item types together. |
| **Edge Apps** | Edge container applications only. |
| **Kubernetes** | Kubernetes Helm charts only. |
| **AI Apps** | AI inference applications only. |
| **Hardware** | Hardware models only. |

Each button displays a count of items of that type. Selecting **Hardware** replaces the results grid with the hardware model table and hides the search bar and filter panel.

## Search and Filter

When any source type other than **Hardware** is selected, the toolbar is visible above the results:

* **Search bar**: Type to search items by name across the current view.
* **Filters**: Select **Filters** to open the filter panel. Filter dimensions are Category, Type, License, and Installs. Active filter count is shown on the button.

Filters apply within the current source type selection. To reset, clear individual filters in the panel or select **All** to return to the full catalog.

## Switch Between Grid and List View

Select the grid or list icon at the top-right of the toolbar to switch views.

**Grid view** displays item cards showing the app name, source type, description, category, version, and install count. Library status badges (**In library**, **Owned**) and **Featured** badges appear on cards where applicable.

**List view** displays a sortable, resizable table with columns: Name, Source, Category, Type, Provider, Version, License, and Installs.

## Open an Item

Select an item card or table row to open the item detail page. Available actions on the detail page depend on the item type and your role.
