# Manage a Network

> View, update, and delete network objects in Edge Infrastructure Services.

## Introduction

This procedure explains how to view, update, and delete network objects in Edge Infrastructure Services after they are created. Use these operations to reconfigure IP settings, update proxy or NTP configuration, or remove networks that are no longer needed.

## Prerequisites

* You have the SysManager or SysAdmin role in your enterprise. See [Manage Roles](https://zededa.mintlify.site/new-ui/infrastructure-services/administration/manage-roles.md).
* At least one network object already created. See [Create a Network](https://zededa.mintlify.site/new-ui/infrastructure-services/networks/create-a-network.md) if you have not yet created a network.

## View Your Networks

1. In the sidebar, click **Infrastructure > Fleet > Networks**.
2. Review the list of network objects. The table shows each network's name, type, IP addressing mode, proxy status, wireless configuration status, and project assignment.
3. Click a network name to open the network detail page. The detail page has four tabs:
   * **Overview**: A summary of the network's IP configuration, proxy settings, wireless settings, and NTP status, along with identity metadata and recent activity.
   * **Details**: The full identity fields including ID, name, title, project, description, and audit timestamps.
   * **Configuration**: The complete IP, proxy, and wireless configuration in a structured panel.
   * **Used by**: The nodes that currently use this network.

### Export SIM details

For a Cellular network, you can export the SIM information that gateways using the network have reported. The **Export SIM details** button appears in the detail page header only for Cellular networks, and only when your role can read nodes in the network's project.

1. Open the detail page of a Cellular network.
2. Click **Export SIM details**.
3. Under **File format**, select **Excel (.xlsx)** or **CSV (.csv)**. Excel preserves long ICCIDs and serial numbers.
4. Click **Export Excel** or **Export CSV**.

The file lists each gateway that uses the network with its serial number, interface, SIM slot, ICCID, northbound IP address, IMSI, SIM state, active SIM, and data availability. If no gateways use the network, there are no SIM details to export.

## Update a Network

You can open the network configuration from the list page or from the network detail page.

**From the list page:**

1. In the sidebar, click **Infrastructure > Fleet > Networks**.
2. Hover over the row of the network you want to update. A **Configure** (gear) icon appears on the right side of the row.
3. Click the **Configure** icon. A configuration panel opens over the list.
4. Make your changes to the network configuration.
5. Click **Save**. A confirmation message appears when the update is applied.

**From the detail page:**

1. In the sidebar, click **Infrastructure > Fleet > Networks**.
2. Click the name of the network you want to update to open the detail page.
3. Click the **Configure** button (gear icon) in the upper right of the page. A configuration panel opens.
4. Make your changes to the network configuration.
5. Click **Save**. A confirmation message appears when the update is applied.

The **Name** field cannot be changed after a network is created. To rename a network, create a new network with the desired name, assign it to the relevant node ports, and delete the old network.

## Delete a Network

Before deleting a network, verify that no node ports are currently using it. Removing a network that is actively assigned to a port disrupts management connectivity for the affected node. You can check which nodes reference the network on the **Used by** tab of the network detail page.

**Delete from the network detail page:**

1. Open **Infrastructure > Fleet > Networks** and click the name of the network to open its detail page.
2. Select **Delete network** (the trash icon) in the detail page header.
3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.

**Delete a single network from the list:**

1. In the sidebar, click **Infrastructure > Fleet > Networks**.
2. Hover over the row of the network you want to delete. A three-dot **More actions** button appears on the right side of the row.
3. Click the **More actions** button and select **Delete**.
4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.

**Delete multiple networks from the list:**

1. In the sidebar, click **Infrastructure > Fleet > Networks**.
2. Hover over the row of the network you want to delete. The icon becomes a checkbox.
3. Select the checkbox next to each network you want to delete. You can also select the checkbox in the table header to select all visible networks.
4. Click the **Bulk Actions** dropdown that appears in the toolbar.
5. Select **Delete Selected**.
6. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.

## Verify the Configuration

After updating a network, open the node that uses that network and confirm the management port shows the expected IP address and connectivity state on the node's status page.
